Parent Training and Support Groups

Learn from the experiences of other parents like you!

With Signature Behavioral Health's parent training and support groups, parents and/or caregivers are able to connect with other people who share their unique experiences. These sessions allow caregivers to share their stories without being judged and learn new skills that can positively impact the relationship with their child(ren). Thus, we create a safe space for caregivers to learn new skills and connect amid their everyday challenges.

As an attendee, caregivers can access a wide variety of opportunities. Our parent groups:

  • Help caregivers learn behavioral strategies

  • Help caregivers deal with the stress of responsibilities

  • Nurture a sense of empowerment

  • Enable caregivers to share your emotions

  • Encourage caregivers to connect with others

Individualized Parent Coaching

This model is to provide training to parents who are looking for ways to promote their child’s independence and learning. We would like to share our knowledge and strategies of applied behavior analysis to support your family’s goals.

We can provide parent coaching and/or behavior intervention for children with or without medical diagnoses (ADHD, cerebral palsy, etc).

In order to achieve long-lasting change, a whole family approach is beneficial.  Our team can create a comprehensive plan for your family and train all caregivers, using Behavior Skills Training, to implement the strategies with accuracy.

This model of training is not restricted to parents, and can be provided for childcare personal and/or other pertinent people (grandparents, sports coaches, etc) in the child's life.
